“ My first impression of the Island Grill was how great the customer service was and how clean everything looked. Great start! The menu offers quite a variety, including a whole lot to choose from for breakfast! I ordered a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries, resolving to order breakfast or a chicken pasta dish on my next visit. The sweet potato fries were just perfect and the hamburger was huge and packed with flavor. As you know, I always have to evaluate the fountain Dr Pepper...It was fantastic! Theres lots of both inside and outside seating. I highly recommend the Island Grill and plan to visit when Im in the area. ”

And, although the baklava didnt have clove, it was everything I expected in the sweet nutty pastry. Service from staff was all smiles. Anyone making this place a meal suggestion, there no doubt... “ We went to this place for my moms birthday brunch and the food was amazing! There are so many gluten free options tooits so easy to find something to eat here! BUTits best to not go with a large group. Seating is incredibly limited, both inside and out. Outside patio is beautiful but the tables dont move. There were multiple large parties there that day that had to sit separately. The service was a little slow and it is a walk up to order situation. Between that and the patio, I would advise going with the right group and expectations. The food is worth it! ”

“ This was our first time at Island Grill. You order at the front desk and they give you a number to place on a table you select. This whole process was so easy and the food arrived quickly. We will be back. The Beef Kabob plate was delicious, I had it with Greek Salad and Hummus. You get two sides and these looked like the best choices for me. The Falafel balls were very tasty, they were cooked just right. One point to make they looked more like donuts and less like balls, but it didnt matter its the taste that counts The Gyro Pita was great, the meat was tasty and the salad was just right. We also had the Gyro rice plate both options are great. If you wanted to come in and site at the bar, it looks like that is a good environment as well. Also the pita bread was great, it wasnt doughy and was just right to complement the meal. ”

“ Took a high school robotics team here after their competition, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The teens loved their burgers and fries, and we adults enjoyed our dishes too. My friend enjoyed the lemon piccata, I loved the beef kabob platter with salad, hummus pitta. The beef was tender and juicy, a good serving size without being ridiculously large. But I really loved the fresh squeezed juice called bloody orange, with orange juice, lemon juice, beets, and on the suggestion of the staff member a little squeeze of ginger. It was amazing. And the staff guy said it is what his dad makes him drink whenever he gets sick. I gotta figure out how to make this on my own! The complimentary frozen yogurt was a great way to round out the meal, to have something a little sweet without getting a fullout dessert. This was my favorite meal during our 4 day trip to Houston! ”

“ We are visiting from Dallas and stopped at Island Grill for lunch. Great choice!! Everything was so fresh. The steak with kabob plate was amazing. Pitas were excellent. Portions are good size. Staff were super friendly and attentive. We will be back before we leave town to try more!!! ”
